BYE, LIZZIE!!

Lizzie, our language assistant has to return to Ireland.

Today, we have been dancing with her an Irish dance and it was great  fun.

We´ll miss you, Lizzie!!

"THE WORLD OF THE SCIENCE"

Soon, we will celebrate the "II Jornadas culturales" at our school. This year, it is going to be dedicated to "The World of the Science". There will be exhibitions, experiments, lectures and other interesting things.

AND NOW...SEVILLE´S APRIL FAIR!

Seville´s April Fair is a festival that it is celebrated in Spring. It takes place in a little city where there are "casetas" (small houses where friends and family meet). In Seville´s Fair, we dance "sevillanas" and women and girls wear beautiful,  colorful dresses. Also, some people ride horses and you can have lots of fun on the Hell Street.

"ELMER" HAS COME!

Today we celebrated the BOOK DAY at school. We  had nine "story tellers" and Lizzie was one of them. She told the story of "ELMER"to a group of children( 3º and 4º level) . They also coloured a picture from the story.
It was fantastic!

Easter is comming!!

Easter is the springtime holiday. In some countries, it´s a great time for children to enjoy chocolate bunnies, chicks and Easter eggs.
The Easter eggs are eaten and used for decoration during Easter holidays.
Try to make your own Easter egg!!

Welcome Spring!!

Spring has come! Flowers, insects, birds, colours, Easter, April Fair... and here we are ready to greet this new season. At last, the sun is shining and the fields are colourful.
Enjoy this beautiful time of year!

HAPPY ST. PATRICK´S DAY!

As you know, Lizzie (our language assistant)  is from Ireland. The patron Saint of Ireland is St. Patrick and every 17th March, in Ireland and other countries, they celebrate his day. This year, at school, we are going to know more about his story because Lizzie is going to explain it to us. Thanks, Lizzie!

8th March: Woman's Day

Every 8th March, we commemorate  the International Women´s Day.
This year at school, we are going to work about spanish poetesses (women who write poems).
And, of course, we are going to remember that women and men have the same obligations and rights.
Don´t forget it!

Andalucia Day

On 28th February, we celebrate the Day of our Community. At school, we are going to have the typical Andalusian breakfast: bread with olive oil . Also, we are going to listen to the hymn, to see the flag raising, to play the Trivial game, etc.

30th of January : PEACE DAY
